Derby Jets fired themselves into the Quarter Finals of the David Keith Tacy Memorial Cup after shooting down Upton Willows 6-1, firing the goals for Derby Jets were Carl Hamm with a double added to singles from Kev Day, Sam Jones, Adam Larway and Dylan Roach

Queens Park sailed to a 4-1 win at Great Float S&S with a splendid 4-1 win thanks to strikes from Alex Cherera with a brace and further singles from Harvey Sample and Charlie Holland, the win has elevated Queens Park into pole position for the first time since the early part of the season, The Blue Riband of Trophies known as the Ryan ‘Gigsy’ Memorial Trophy is trophy that Queens Park have not won since 2019 but don’t rule out a late surge from Dock AFC, also Woodchurch Hotel and Rock Ferry Social do have an outside chance as they both registered away wins at KRCT Bidston (Fenton Cavanagh 2,Lewis Clarke) and Wellington respectfully, Woodchurch Hotel won 4-3, not the ideal preparation for the Cheshire Cup final next Sunday at Vauxhall’s for KRCT Bidston while their opponents next week Rock Ferry Social warmed up with a fine 4-0 result thanks to Rory Aldis and Ben Ryan hatrick

The Houlihan’s Birkenhead Sunday Association Football League are now accepting applications for new clubs to join the League for the 2024-2025 season, a limited number of vacancies are available

We are also accepting applications for the Youth Division for the same 2024-2025 season that is scheduled to start in August 2024, any Youth clubs/teams that wish to enter two teams can do so, one team will be known as Youth U/18’s and a second team is normally known as a Colts U/17’s, please visit the League website for contact details
