John Davies RIP

I must sadly inform you of the passing of John Davies our former Secretary and stalwart of the Birkenhead Sunday League who spent a lifetime serving football.

Everyone will have their own story to tell of John a man with a wicked sense of humour and his undying devotion to this great game.

I would ask you to take a moment out of your day to think of John and say your personal goodbyes.

He will be sadly missed by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him and may he rest in peace.

Our condolences and thoughts go with his family at this sad time.

I will provide details of his funeral when they are known.
