Queens Park and Whitby Rangers continued their unbeaten runs in the Houlihan’s Premier Division, both winning on Sunday. Leaders Queens Park secured a commanding 7–1 win over Rock Ferry Social. Fenton Cavanagh led the way with a hat-trick, James Fee struck twice, while Charlie Holland and Jamie Leyland were also on target. Danny Paige netted a consolation for Rock Ferry.

Whitby Rangers kept up the pressure with a narrow 1–0 win over third-placed Wellington. Tom Ruffer scored the only goal in a tightly contested game to maintain Whitby’s strong start to life in the top flight.

KRCT Bidston mounted a brilliant second-half comeback to defeat Cheshire Cheese 5–3 after trailing 2–0 at the break. John Mearns hit a brace, with Dega Taylor, Joe Dulson and Lewis Clarke also on the scoresheet. Sean Wilson, Ellis Belkinsopp and Connor Rowlands scored for Cheese in a high-scoring encounter. Meanwhile Glenavon and Beechwood played out a rare goalless draw, both sides having to settle for a point.

Dock AFC exited the FA National Sunday Cup after a 3–1 home defeat to The Molly of the Liverpool Business Houses Sunday League. Despite The Molly being reduced to ten men inside five minutes, they went ahead following a Dock defensive error. Kieran Hamm levelled early in the second half with a header from a corner, but two breakaway goals sealed the win for the visitors, who then held firm with a strong defensive display.

In the Cheshire Cup, two out of three local teams progressed to the third round. Josh Abbott scored both goals in Bushell Newton FC’s 2–1 win over Runcorn Sports. Glenavon Athletic put up a spirited display but were narrowly beaten 4–3 by Cheadle & Gatley Junior despite goals from Brad Selby (2) and Jack Templeton.
Higher Bebington Kelma showed their attacking prowess again, cruising to an 8–0 victory over Winston Sacred. Lewis Simpson scored a hat-trick, Liam Atherton and Luke Edwards each grabbed a brace, and Dylan Owen also found the net.

Athletic VH edged out Upton Town in the first round of the Presidents Cup, winning 5–4 on penalties after a 2–2 draw. Ross Meadows and Harry Farnworth scored for VH, while Liam Heeley and Joe Flynn replied for Upton.

Corsair secured a 2–0 win over The Dell FC thanks to goals from Shaun Taylor and Sam Saunders. Oxton Celtic overcame Seamus O’Donnell’s FC 4–2 with goals from Mike Manser, Lewis Robinson, Harry Sutton and Sean Deeham. Stuey Davies and Carl Griffiths replied for O’Donnell’s.

In Division Two, Lukes FC were again amongst the goals with a 5–1 victory over Upton Willows. Joel Hughes scored twice, with further goals from Leon Jones, Jude Burgess and Finn Perry. Harry Bough netted for Willows.

Woodchurch Rovers claimed a 2–0 win against North Wirral Saints, with Adam Smith and Andre Shevvy getting on the scoresheet. Saughall FC and Eastham Rangers shared the points in a 2–2 draw. Andy Noonan and Owen Wharton scored for Saughall, while Harry Huggins and Jack Jones netted for Eastham.

Parkgate St Germain moved five points clear at the top of Division Three with a 3–1 win over Ridgewood FC. John Gibson scored twice and Ieuan Hughes added another. Conor Bowman scored for Ridgewood.
Victoria Colts enjoyed a dominant 7–1 win against Lighthouse FC. Ryan Coles and Gaz Dickinson each netted twice, with Ryan Jones, Destiny Obichere and Matty Wilde also on target. Dom Quirk scored for Lighthouse.

West Kirby United defeated local rivals West Kirby Wasps 3–1, with Jack Safadi scoring twice and Matty Keville adding a third. Paddy Lawler scored the Wasps’ only goal.
